FRAUD, WASTE, & ABUSE
Recently, the City settled out of court with former Public Works Director Barb Huner to the tune of about $80,000. All this for the $360 or so she cost the City in what they called inappropriate use of her office. The City, especially the department that runs Public Works - Community Development - is responsible for this $80,000 screw-up as well as the following: all amounts approximate
Above payout to Barb Huner $80,000
Airport beacon light shield for Tom Zweck (non-resident) $250
Rerouting of trash trucks for Tom Zweck $15,000
Lost revenue due to delay in new beacon tower $24,000

T-shirts for Blizzard of 2003 for some city employees ????
And they fired Barb Huner over $360? Remember these numbers come election time. The person costing this City and you taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars is...................(drum roll)
